ZW32-40.5 is suitable for three-phase AC 50Hz, 35kV and below power system, mainly used for the control and protection of power system, as a breaking and closing load current, overload current and short circuit current.

It can be operated by manual opening or electric opening and closing, as well as remote control, and can be matched with intelligent controllers to achieve power distribution automation, or with reclosing controllers to form automatic reclosers and sectionalizers. It can be equipped with two-phase or three-phase current transformer for overcurrent or short-circuit protection. It can provide a current acquisition signal for the intelligent controller. Metering current transformers can be installed according to user requirements. Monostable permanent magnet operating mechanism can be used. Strong stability, not affected by the magnetization process and temperature changes.
